Dear Friend
Terry and the other City Council candidates will debate one another tonight, beginning at 7 p.m sharp in the Lane Room at the Main Library. Sponsored by the San Mateo County Times, the debate will include written questions from the audience and questions posed by candidates to each other.
The Daily Journal has endorsed Terry. The October 14 editorial calls Terry "a clear choice. She is head and shoulders above the other candidates for City Council and will do a good job working for the people of Burlingame." To read the editorial, click here.
Terry and Mike Spinelli won second place in the Chili Cookoff at Roosevelt School on October 12. Mike, who is a former Burlingame mayor, is one of Terry's campaign co-chairs. Their recipe is called "Power Surge Chili" in honor of Terry's battles with PG&E. It includes three types of meat, two kinds of beans, tequila, spicy V-8 juice, cocoa and much more. The first-place winner was "Yummy Awesome Chili" by the Youth Advisory Committee of the Parks and Recreation Department. There were 24 entries.
Terry will report to the City Council on Monday, October 20, about the progress Burlingamers Unwilling to Live with Blackouts has made with PG&E. To read a list of BULB's accomplishments, click here.
