Fun Events in Burlingame

Check the Calendar below for details on some entertaining events coming up in Burlingame, including a screening of “Burlingame Buzz,” a series of documentary-style short films about Burlingame, this Wednesday, and Art in the Park on June 12 and 13.

Good News From PG&E

At a meeting held Friday with Burlingamers Unwilling to Live with Blackouts (BULB), Pacific Gas & Electric representatives agreed to upgrade circuits affecting 6,000 of its 16,000 customers in Burlingame. The $3 million project is scheduled to begin in July and be finished by late October.

Economic Optimism

Things are starting to look up in Burlingame:

By the way, a recent story in a local paper that claimed Burlingame is hoping to attract more fast-food businesses was wrong. The truth is that proposed changes for the downtown area would permit some additional restaurants, but they would not allow additional fast-food restaurants.
